Terms & Conditions

Parcel Palace

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using any service provided by Parcel Palace, the customer agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. By proceeding with our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms in full. Continued use of our services constitutes ongoing acceptance.

2. Scope of Services

Parcel Palace provides courier and logistics services, including but not limited to:

  • Shipping between the USA and Jamaica

  • Air and sea freight services

  • Assisted online shopping and payment services

  • Warehousing and package handling

  • Pickup, drop-off, and delivery services

  • Office and doorstep delivery

  • Returns management

  • Delivery via third-party courier partners where applicable

Parcel Palace reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at its discretion without prior notice.

3. Shipping Schedule

Parcel Palace ships multiple times per week. All shipping schedules are estimates and are not guaranteed. Delays may occur due to customs processing, carrier schedules, inspections, weather conditions, or other factors beyond our control.

4. Service Areas

Parcel Palace currently services:

  • Kingston & St. Andrew

  • Portmore

  • Select areas across Jamaica

Delivery outside these areas may be arranged through third-party couriers at the customer’s expense.

5. Responsibility, Risk & Liability

All shipments are transported at the customer’s own risk.

Parcel Palace assumes limited liability for loss, damage, delay, or errors related to shipments.

Responsibility begins when the package is received at our warehouse and ends once the package is handed over to third-party carriers, customs authorities, or delivered to the customer.

Parcel Palace is not responsible for:

  • Vendor or supplier errors

  • Incorrect information provided by customers

  • Packages lost before reaching our warehouse

  • Delays or damages caused by third parties

6. Packaging & Fragile Items

Parcel Palace is not responsible for damage caused by improper packaging by vendors or senders.

Fragile items (including electronics, glass, liquids, and cosmetics) are shipped at the customer’s own risk, regardless of packaging.

7. Prohibited & Restricted Items

Customers must ensure all items comply with local and international laws.

Prohibited items include, but are not limited to:

  • Illegal drugs or controlled substances

  • Firearms, ammunition, or weapons

  • Explosives or hazardous materials

  • Counterfeit goods

  • Pornographic or obscene materials

  • Perishable foods

  • Live animals

  • Cash or negotiable instruments

Any prohibited item may be confiscated or surrendered to authorities without refund. Parcel Palace assumes no liability for such actions.

8. Customs, Duties & Fees

Customers are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, and government fees.

Parcel Palace is not liable for delays, inspections, or penalties imposed by customs authorities.

9. Assisted Online Shopping Services

For shopping assistance services:

  • Full payment must be made in advance

  • Customers must confirm item details before purchase

  • Payments are non-refundable once the purchase is completed

Parcel Palace is not responsible for:

  • Vendor errors

  • Incorrect items or sizing

  • Delays or cancellations

All refunds or exchanges must be handled directly with the vendor.

10. Payments

We accept:

  • Bank transfers

  • Cash

  • Online payments

All payments must be completed before processing. Payments are non-refundable once shipping or purchasing begins.

11. Claims & Complaints

All claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of receiving or being notified of your package.

Supporting documents (receipts, photos) may be required.

WhatsApp messages do not constitute official claims.

12. Storage & Uncollected Packages

Packages not collected within 7 days may incur storage fees.

Packages uncollected after 30 days may be:

  • Auctioned

  • Donated

  • Disposed of

to recover costs. Customers remain responsible for any outstanding fees.

13. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance where applicable. Cancellation fees may apply.

Parcel Palace reserves the right to cancel services at its discretion.

14. Amendments

Parcel Palace reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between Parcel Palace and the customer.
